Slightly Silly Question - Work related

Hello there

I have given my work notice that I'm leaving.  I said I'd work through Thanksgiving but I don't know if I'll be there until then for a couple reasons.

My husband is fine with me not working, as my salary contributed zilch to our expenses... but I still like to make my own few dollars here and there..

I was thinking about some part-time job at a mall.. just being somewhere that you don't have to use your brain too much and it's just easier and I can go home and I don't have stress.. but I've had a few people say to me that I shouldn't stand on my feet long hours at a time while pregnant.

What are your thoughts?  I'm positive there's pregnant retail employees everywhere .. or pregnant woman that have to be on their feet and survive with a helathy pregnancy.. but did anyone have a doctor saying no to this?

    If your pay check doesn't pay towards bills then put it into savings. You never know what surprise might come up.  I wouldn't be able to work retail because I'm high risk, but there are plenty of pregnant women who work on their feet all day.

    my mom worked as a doctor's assistant through out both her pregnancies with my sister and borther and was on her feet for 8+hrs a day right around her due date.  for centuries women have managed to work on their feet and have been fine, of course high risk is different but other than that there's no issue.

    I am a hairstylist, and am on my feet ALL day long.... towards the end, I am expecting some serious clubs for feet, as they will swell like crazy! (that was my experience with  my first) But, I survived, and it was not much of a bother. Just a good reason to come home and keep my feet up all night :)
