16wk check up..

Today I had my 16 wk check up. it was just a quick listen to the hb (152), Weight, only gained 2.9 lbs since getting pregnant and they measured my stomach.  We did some blood work and they are rechecking the varicella since last time it showed very low which concerned me.

We had a quick chat about the fact that I will not see the same woman who did my Nt scan for the anatomy scan.  She was not thrilled I'm going to another office for it but oh well I am the patient and it's my choice.

They are still concerned about the placenta but nothing to get alarmed with for now, just a watch and see sort of thing.  They told me my cramps are just some stretching, which is a relief.  And I am allowed to have wine again just a glass a week.  Oh I can't wait to have my first sip of white zin..

so all in all we had a great appointment today. now it's a 2 week wait until the anatomy scan and 3 until my next appt..

    Just curious, but why are you going to another office for the anatomy scan?  Do you not like u/s tech at your OB's office?

    I was not thrilled with th Md who did my NT.  I like my md's to be straight forward with me but she basically would make a statement like my spotting and cramps were not normal and how we have to monitor it... and then just sort of changed the subject. which everything I have read/heard is the opposite of this.  And basically I did not feel comfortable with her.
