We have already picked out LO's first name, Jordyn, but I'm stuck between two middle names both of which are family names on my side. Jordyn Elizabeth (Elizabeth after my grandmother on my mom's side)Jordyn Bell (Bell is my mom's maiden name) Which do you like better? If it helps last name starts with an A.
Re: Which do you like better?
Are you set on this spelling? I think Jordan is a fine name, I know a girl with this name and it suits her well, but I do not like Jordyn at all, there is no need for the Y.
But, that is not what you asked...I think both names sound nice and it is great that they both have family signifigance. If you were to spell the fn Jordan, I think either middle name will work. But if you go with Jordyn I think the mn should be Elizabeth so she has at least one normal name to fall back on.
This!
I have a male cousin named Jordon, and to me Jordon (and all it's alternative spellings) is a boy name. Just my opinion

I agree with PP that a girly middle name would be best here, although I can appreciate your mom having a good maiden name.

LOVE the name Elizabeth, so pretty and classic.
Not a Jordyn fan but I agree with PP about the "y" being just plain bad
Jordyn Bell
Agreed!
