I got a call from my Endo this afternoon to say my thyroid levels are back in the normal range (!) so no meds are needed and she sees no reason why we can't TTC right away. Whee. I am so relieved that I don't need the Radio-active Iodine treatment (which would have put us on hold for another 6+ months).
Of course, I'm charting and my temperature jumped today so it looks like we missed "o" this cycle, but I'm just excited that we can stop TTA and start TTC again!
I guess that means I'm officially joining you ladies - I introduced myself back at the beginning of August, but then I was on vacation so I've missed a lot this last month (or so I'm gathering).
Re: Got the all-clear to TTC again!
Yay! That's great news.
What did your doctor do for treatment, or did they just wait to see if the levels went down on their own?
TTA = trying to avoid
OP - yay for getting the all clear. I hope you get a BFP soon.

Thank you ladies! It took us a long time to get KU the first time, so I'm hoping this time round is faster. I appreciate the support.
Aubs13 - I didn't do any treatment. Because the hyperthyroid was discovered right around the same time I got my BFP, I had been referred to a high-risk OB who specializes in thyroid issues, but I lost the baby a few weeks before my first appointment. So I was referred again to a regular endocrinologist and we were waiting to see what she had to say. I saw her on Thursday, and she sent me for another blood test and this time my levels were in the high end of normal rather than the low end of Hyperthyroid, so she said no treatment was necessary. They're going to keep watching me for the next little while to see what happens, but for now, things are fine.
