I am pretty new at this so I switched her to skim milk only at first bc I wasn't sure if whole milk would upset her stomach too much. It does me sometimes) She will be whole milk starting this afternoon when DH picks some up from the store.
She also does eat 3 baby food meals a day. She's a GOOD eater thank goodness! Her favorite is prunes so I stocked up a bunch for her ![]()
The reason she went to soy was because of the constant spit up. It got so bad, we stopped going places because I was having to bring 2 shirts to change into because it was all over me. We would go through all 20 of her burp rags in a day and she was miserable.

Re: To those with questions about my FFFC
I don't want this to come off as flaming..I'm not at all, just asking.
Why didn't the dr give her some meds for reflux? Also Did the pedi mention anything about iron. I think that the reason they don't want babies on milk is b/c they don't get enough iron & ...I'm gonna have to look that up for sure. But something to maybe ask your pedi.
We did try 3 different medicines and none of them work. She did mention iron but she isn't going on anything for it as of yet. I dont believe she had reflux in the first place because now she doesnt spit up at all. My brother, me and DH all had trouble with formula so I am really not surprised.
..sounds like you & your pedi have it all under control. I'm glad she is doing better on the regular milk. GL!!!!
My brother and I went through this as kids and so did my DH. We were all on soy formula that barely kept us going and DH was in the hospital more than once because of it. Even with the soy formula, my brother and I were known to hit the wall from across the room with our projectile vomit. Once they switched us to cow's milk right around your DD's age, actually, we were able to catch up growth wise. DS has a minor case of it, but I'm counting my lucky stars he manages on sensitive formula.
Good luck! And I hope this is the happy solution for you!
