Frosting Recommendations Needed

I am making cupcakes for a BBQ this weekend (Thanks for volunterring me, Mr. Dip Super Angry)

Anyway, I wanted to try a lime blueberry cupcake with ginger frosting, and I also made a lemon blueberry cupcake.

What kind of frosting would you do for the lemon blueberry? I was thinking a plain cream cheese, since the lemon blueberry favors are very intense. I would try that Italian Buttercream tbird blogges about, but it seems very labor intensive. WDYT?
