I finally mailed my Elfster gift!

And I have to apologize in advance for the handwriting in my card. It's horrible! But I didn't want to type out a letter as that just seemed too impersonal.

Of course that is if you can even get into the package. There's a ton of tape on that bad boy. Smile

I just mailed mine today, too! The post office guy ticked me off, b/c I told him I needed to ship it and I was thinking priority mail. He told me to get a bubble envelope - I looked at it and decided it would smash some of my handmade elements, and I got a box. Took it over to him and he said he would put it in another box - gets out a small box and starts squeezing it in there. I said some of it was delicate and that it didn't matter if it flopped around but shouldn't get smashed. So, he put the small box that he had already mashed into the big box. What the crap? My poor person will have to open two boxes to probably find part of their gift is smooshed.

I would have been pissed! Should have gotten insurance so if anything was broken then at least you would get paid back for it. My post office person wasn't very nice either but at least she didn't throw the box around.

Aubs - I can't wait for the 9th either. Two more weeks!

You guys are good. I just kind of picked out the last part of mine today. I swear I will have it there by 9/9 though. That date seemed so far away when we started this.
