What was the first tape you ever owned (or CD for you Youngin's!)
Mine was Wilson Phillips-LOL. I remember getting So mad when my cousin stole it!

A friend of mine gave me a tape of Aerosmith - Get a Grip and I had to hide it from my parents because I wasn't allowed to listen to music like that, lol.
Mine was a record - Joe Le Taxi, Vanessa Paradis.
Lots of record mamas on here too! Also HRW-we have that rattle and it is Q's FAVORITE toy ever!

OMG! I had the tape! I couldn't get in the car without listening and i had a record of Whitney Houston.
Me too! I was about 8 years old and I was IN LOVE with the New Kids on the Block, lol! I'd wear my New Kids shirt every single time it was clean!
Tape? Maybe I should call you a youngin! I recall the first RECORD I bought as a kid with my own money... the soundtrack to Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Yes, I was a geek even at 8.
And I too had that tape in late Jr. high or early HS. ;D
I'm not sure what my first tape was..I had some kiddie ones when I was really little. The first one I remember buying for myself was The Hanson's first album.
My very first CD was Spice Girls.

Funny story, I bought a Salt n' Peppa tape, my mom found out, hid it, gave me my $ back, and then I went behind her back and stole it back from her "secret" hiding place! LOL...
Also, I always remember taping songs off the radio too (making my own mixed tape!). Oh those days of rewinding, fast forwarding, and flipping sides brings me back...
