So as I posted below I am starting a new resolve group in my area. My co-host and I have been looking for places where we could meet. It has to be free and ideally would provide some privacy so we can have guest speakers, etc. Resolve has concerns about restaurants and coffee shops for privacy reasons, but doesn't forbid meeting there.
We called a local hospital, but they don't allow use of their conference rooms for non staff members anymore. The libraries have weird hours and they aren't open when we need them to be, same goes for community centers and the local community college charges a fee and requires insurance. Some of the grocery stores here have community conference rooms that are free to use, but they are so booked up we are having a hard time getting on their schedule.
Does anyone have ideas of where I could look for something like this? The only resolve rule is it can't be at an RE's office.

Good idea on the hotel! What about the YMCA or like the Knights of Columbus, Elks or other organization? They often have meeting halls for rent that are not that expensive.
I think asking a church is a good idea too and a hotel would be a good place to start.
You might also try apartment complexes in the area and see if they have club houses that they would let you use. What about asking a local community college if they have a classroom you could use?

maybe a local high school or university could give you a conference room or a local church with a meeting room.

We do meet at a restaurant and I have to say that it's not the cheapest place - but they have these 6-8 person tables that are seperated by permanent partitions - so it gives us the privacy we need but the cost of a monthly dinner out can be a little much. Our leader has complained that she can't seem to find a better place than that so we are sticking with it for now.
Maybe you can start the meetings somewhere and then see if anyone in the group has ideas or my have a recreation room in their building that you can use? Would you be able to do it in one of your back yards? Maybe set up some chairs and have everyone come and go from the side gate? Might be too personal to do - but might be an option.
Thank you IVF for our little miracles!!
I could be wrong, but I've heard some Whole Foods have community rooms. And they have super yummy food/drinks for purchase

There are actually a couple rules I didn't mention. No homes and not somewhere where the members are required to buy something. They discourage restaurants for that reason (and privacy) because people feel obligated to buy something. Resolve wants to make sure that people can get support without feeling like they have to spend money.
