What is your little one going to be

For Halloween? I know it's still far away but I have been thinking about it lately. DS is 16 months and last year we just put him in a skeleton hoodie but this year I want to dress him up cute! Any ideas?

    We might have her be a chicken - because we always call her that - or a flower since my mom calls her Petunia. I saw a super cut poodle skirt outfit that I thougt was fun too...so obviously we aren't sure yet.

    lol I think girls toddler costumes are so much cuter than boys and they seem to have alot more choices! I guess I should check out some websites.

    Our little guy still fits in his costume from last year. His 12 month pirate suit is going to be used again. Yay! That saves us some money :)

    I raided the sale racks after Halloween last year and got her a Cinderella and a Little Red Ridinghood costume. The LRRH one is 2T though so I think she's probably going to be Cinderella this year and LRRH next year.

    A monkey...I can't wait!  I wanted to dress up as Jane and my DH as Tarzan but he's not going for it :(

    We have a really cute dog outfit for DS to wear.  We are going to paint his nose black (if he will allow it!) and then pull him around in his wagon.  Hopeully it will be cooler this  year for it--last year he was a pumkin and it was 80 degrees that night, he melted!

    I love Halloween. last year Luke was a pirate and we made his stroller into a ship. This year I think he'll be a cop so we can take along our calm German Shepherd.

    I was going to make her a candy corn princess costume like ones I've seen online but  I found a furry purple unicorn costume for $10 at a consignment shop. Its adorable and much easier.

    Whatever fits that they have available at the consignment store.  Something gender neutral b/c we are trying for #2 and if it's a boy, I'll want to reuse it.

    Originally I was going to dress DS as a monkey, because we always call him monkey. Than I thought about dressing him as a scarecrow and DD as Dorothy, but we live in Iowa and all the Dorothy costumes were not even close to being warm enough. Than I ran across this lion costume from Old Navy and I think it is too cute to pass up. So it looks like he will be a lion.Big Smile
