Can I just call the baby "Hey you!"?

Seriously.  This naming thing is not much fun anymore.

If the baby is a girl I like Emmaline but hubby hates it and just wants Emma.  I like the middle name of Faith or Hope.  He hates them.

If the baby is a boy we came up with Liam Douglas but I'm just not sure.  When we named my daughter we KNEW it was her name.  Not sure I feel as confident this time. Hey you sounds good enough right? Character building?

  • I'm right there with you. I don't even want to think about it anymore.  I told DH (and all the others who for some reason think they have a say) that the topic is closed until we find out the genders.  We are only prepared if they're a boy and a girl, we don't have 2 names for either gender so I don't want to stress over anymore until we know for sure.

  • WE have a boy name and we cannot agree on a girl name. I don't like names that have been in the 10 most popular baby names and (flame worthy comment) the other name that he likes I think is an old fat woman's name...

  • Why not - I called DS 'baby' for the first weeks of his live.  I could have gone on with that!

This is exactly where my husband and I are!  We have settled on a boy's name, but not the girl's.  He keeps saying that just b/c I have a $10 name doesn't mean our daughter has to have one, too!  UGH!

Is a $10 name bad? Because I think my mom got mine in the discount bin.

DH actually wanted to name her Allie Way R______. I was like... No. Gross. I want Adelaide, Adrianne, etc... he wants Ally. Not Allison or Alexandra-- Ally. If she does turn out to be a stripper she won't need a code name.

Hahaha...your title totally caught my eye because I have been saying this to people for ages! If it's a boy, we're good to go - but if it's a girl..."Hey You" is sounding pretty darn good! lol Good luck! Tongue Tied

LOL. I was going to tease and say "like Tiffany?" but you beat me to the punch. By the way, I love Asa William.
