Bottle strike

Has anyone dealt with this????  DS wanted nothing to do with his bottle or formula today.  He happily nursed twice - I usually nurse right after he wakes up in the morning and right before bedtime - with no issues. He drank ice water from a straw/cup with no problem. So I don't think it is an ear infection or anything physical.

He refused to have anything to do with this bottle.  Poured the formula in his sippy cup and no dice... He has been on the same formula for a while, and he is generally not picky about different/new tastes.

I am going to use some of my frozen BM stash tomorrow and see if that helps....I hope this is just a phase!!!!

TIA

Re: Bottle strike

  • I EBFed DD, and at 9 months she went on a bottle strike.  Doc said to just keep nursing her and start with cow's milk in a sippy, since she wouldn't touch my breastmilk or formula in a bottle or sippy.  It worked out for us!
