Andrew Paul... (DREW not Andy)

Brooke Elizabeth...

We don't want to tell anyone the name until the baby is born so I can't ask my sisters for their opinion and I don't want any surprise reactions after they are born.

I have some hesitations on 1 of these but wasn't sure if I was over thinking it or if others will think the same thing. Both middle names are family names. Would love all input- good and bad

I really like Andrew Paul! Brooke Elizabeth is just ok IMO I do like Elizabeth just not crazy about Brooke. It's not a bad name just nms with Brooke.

Brooke is nms, but they are both nice names. I love Drew as a nn for Andrew. Are you worried about it sounding like RuPaul? I wouldn't; in situations where his mn is used it will be with his whole fn, kwim?

Andew Paul sounds lovely . . . but, Drew Paul? I guess it's unlikely the middle name and his nickname will be spoken together, but I clearly hear Rupaul.

And, I'm sorry, but I think Brooke is the most atrocious name. Despite having met several perfectly classy Brookes, I still associate it with trashy women.

Yep, Drew Paul and RuPaul was my hesitation... I didn't know who else would think of it and I'm not so keen on my little man having the same name as RUPAUL! haha! Thanks for the input- helps me think through what we want to use. I LOVE THIS BOARD

Eh, if you are going to call him Drew then name him Drew! I just don't get that especially if you have a strong preference that he not be nicknamed Andy.
