Oh, 1 more good thing! But bittersweet (newborn mentioned)

So my friend had her c-section this morning (see OP here ) so I went to the hospital after work to visit.

He was 9 lbs 10 oz 21.5 in long!  Big baby!  Has his mom's hair and nose, but the rest is all his dad Big Smile  Both mom and baby are doing great!

I was very nervous on my way there.  I was afraid I was going to cry....I haven't been in that hospital before.  It's brand new (and gorgeous) and I was supposed to see it for the first time during a birthing center tour, but since I'm not KU anymore, I thought it would be weird to attend one of those.  Stick out tongue  I might get some weird looks.

Anywho.  I thought I would maybe cry, but I did really well while I was at the hospital.  And then proceeded to cry on my way home.

But I am very happy for them and the baby is adorable!

    It sucks you aren't preparing to do the same thing yet.  But you will get there.  ((HUGS))

    I'm so proud of you Shanna.  I know it must have been so hard but I glad you made it through ok.  Sending big hugs your way.  Praying it will be our turn soon!

    Dx: MFI- 3% morph
    IUIs: Gonal-F + Ovidrel + b2b IUI= BFNs
    IVF with ICSI= BFP! EDD 11/25/11
    3/18- Beta #1 452! 3/20- Beta #2 1,026!! 3/27- First u/s- TWINS!
    Our twin boys arrived at 36w5d due to IUGR and a growth discordance

    FET: Medicated FET moved up to 5/23 due to ovulation
    Transferred a 6BB hatched blastocyst- genetically normal female embryo
    BFP! 5/28- 5dp6dt      
    6/1 Beta #1- 223! 6/3 Beta #2- 567!

    I can't imagine how difficult that must have been for you.  :-(  Great job staying strong at the hospital!  ((hugs))
    TTC since January 2010
    BFP 5/9/10. U/S - no heartbeat 6/2/10 (7 weeks). Induced miscarriage 6/7/10.
    Chemical pregnancies 12/2/10, 1/3/11, and 2/7/11.
    dx: RPL due to poor quality uterine lining; begin progesterone January 2011
    BFP 3/10/11. EDD 11/19/11. E arrived 11/15/11!
