Anyone else want to rip their nipples off?!

My nipples are so friggn itchy, I want to cut them off!! lol, My left one is the most itchiest..Is this normal, and can I use anything to stop the itching? It wouldn't look good at work if I'm constantly tugging at my boob..lol

TIA

Re: Anyone else want to rip their nipples off?!

  • Ooh ooh ooh.. Me! For the first time yesterday, I took off my bra and they killed! They were rock hard and very itchy. My boobs were so sore. :( I have no advice but to share with you that I am in the same boat.

I'll remember that when mine start. I have the soreness but not the itchiness. Thanks!

  • Lanolin will be your best friend!!!

My nipples didn't start to get itchy until later in 2nd tri last time, and I hope I don't have the pleasure of experiencing that again.

But, Lansinoh Lanolin for breastfeeding mom's is the BEST for itchy nipples!!!

  • I think the May 2011 Moms board is the greatest board, because we can all express what we're going through, and chances are that we will be going through it at around the same time :) It's great support!

Thanks for the advice on the Lanolin and Shea Butter..I have to invest in that :) I used an ice pack right on my nipple and that seemed to help a lot...Lucky for me, I work in a Breast Care Center, so we have "breast-friendly" ice packs that fit right into your bra :)

My nipples are pretty sore, so an ice pack would just about kill me!!  no itching for me, but the soreness is pretty annoying!
