So, fill me in on why people dislike Star

I try to stay out of the drama. But I'm bored. And my coffee hasn't kicked in.

 

I'm not "in" any group here. I'm pretty darned unbiased. I admit I am bad about remember names and who is who, but Star doesn't stick out as one of the meanies. So did I miss something? Why is she specifically getting picked on? Do people just see her as the "leader" of the ckc or something?

    I don't know all of the details but it seems to stem from some FFFC she wrote. Which is ridiculous. The drama has exploded to include multiple people and is to the point where other boards are referencing 3-6 and 6-9 as crazy, drama-filled boards with immature women, etc. etc. I only know that because I have a friend IRL on another board who linked me at one time.

    Loooong story short: there was a FFFC taken WAAY out of context and some twats just ran with it and used that as a launching pad to create some very mean and *** TBPS about her. There is NO  reason AT ALL for any of these haters to hate; they are doing it just because they can and it's pretty shitty.

    Seriously.  This was a somewhat busy work week, and beyond hearing that IV was voted out of a club (mind you, I only JUST heard of the CKC, because my job blocks most images hosted on popular image hosting sites, so I never see badges), I'm just confused.

    All I know is, if people want to do call outs here about stuff that's going on elsewhere, people should be posting what's up.  It's Friday, and I want to slack and read today!

    Edit to add - If this really all started with the budget post I made like, weeks ago, which turned into a CD/BF argument... then wow.  This has been stewing for a WHILE now.

    good lord. I gotta say- I dont get alerts when folks post on the same threads as me (do others? I get the impression this is a feature for some) so I often wonder if - after I post something - I am getting flamed unknowingly since I rarely go back and see the subsequent posts. That's how ridiculous it's gotten- I live in fear. (ok, not really. I frankly dont particularly care- but it really does get out of hand)

    There is a "watch this thread" button that if you click it sends you emails when people respond to it. I don't use it but some do.

     

    Some use the "my posts" link to follow posts they've started

     

    Others are just on here enough to follow everything they've said ;)

    I loved watching reality tv fluff when I was home on maternity leave this summer and was sad that I had to go back to work and not be able to watch it anymore.....now I just have to check TB a few times a day to get my fix.

    Annice is NOT one of the meanies.  She wrote a FFFC that got blown wayyy out of proportion and some Bumpies just won't let it go.  I've never seen a post where she has even been a little bit snarky.  "People" in general don't dislike her, just a few people with a lot of time on their hands to write call outs and post secrets.

    Just to warn you, they run super duper small. At that time, LO was wearing 3-6 clothes, but that was a 12 month dress and it was already too tight. eek.

    We live in the area so next week will be DD's first tailgate ;)

    yea i see that they run small, thats why i do not think it will fit. i ordered some more things though so she will have something. and im sooooo beyond jealous you get to go! hahah. my entire family goes to at least 1 game a year (we live 6-7 hrs away so its a little harder)  but im hoping i can take LO for a little bit or something. i cant wait for her to see her first game! i just love that place - its BEAUTIFUL!

    I don't know why people don't like Annice....She likes just about everyone here. Check her siggy she's in everyone's club/group.

    I can tell you why I don't get a long with her in a pm if you're that curious. There was big blow out between Annice and I over the BF ticker. Anyways since that fight someone is posting tons of secret posts about her and of course it all points to me...well maybe and Ana too. Anyways in a whole other post I very clearly came out and said I was NOT doing TBPS about her. I doubt any one believes me though.
