sensory disorder?

this is not about DS but I'm just inquring from people with LO's with these issues.

What are the signs/symptoms?  I google'd them but it's so varied and vague.

Do LO's with Sensory issues usually have issues with different food/textures, excessive noise, and excessive touch?

Re: sensory disorder?

  • Tanner puts everything in his mouth. He also likes to lick or rub his mouth on our furniture. He is afraid of noises such as lawnmovers, weed wackers, garbage disposals, etc. He used to be afraid of the vacumn, but now he's gone the other way and tries to jump on it and grab on it while I'm vacumning. When we go to Disneyland we have to bring a chewie tube for him to chew on becuase he'll put his mouth on all the hand rails or the bars on the rides.
