Belly Button Question

I was reading a previous thread about the belly button, and what exactly happens to the belly button? Mine feels a little different now, like there's something hard underneath it. What is that? And what will be happening to it as the pregnancy goes on? thanks for the info to a new mom.

    I am a first time mom too.. mine look a little different but nothing to drastic yet.. I believe the bigger your belly gets the more it will start to pop out.. but i have no proof.. so i would like to know too

    Mine hasn't done much yet at all but I was told years ago I had some scar tissue from when I was a baby from the umbilical cord which they said is common.  To me that is the hard spot I feel under my belly button, may not be for you but that is what I have.

    My first time being pregnant, my belly button was very hard and a little painful until it popped out about two weeks before I gave birth. The second time, it popped out at 5 months along and didnt hurt at all. I really think it your scar tissue from your unbilical corn being tied as a baby and it just needs to stretch out. Any scar hurts when you make it move for the first time...
