Were heading up for the weekend...We have been to Storyland a couple of times, I have always wanted to check out Santas Village, but heard mixed reviews. Looking to get some feedback....If you have been to both, is there one you like more than the other. Thanks
Re: Storyland/Santas Village
We just went to Santa's Village this year for the first time. We've been to Storyland, oh, 7 times I think. DD loved Santas Village (she's 5 next week), I think because it was something different. I don't know that I could do Santa's Village 2 days in a row (as we've done w/Storyland in the past) but DD said she liked it better. I think because it was something different.
They have a new waterpark, which was great in the hot weather. It was DD's favorite part. Rides are similar to Storyland, some better/some worse. For example - flume ride is a longer drop than the Bambo Chutes at Storyland, but a bumpier/less comfortable overall ride. Roller coaster is a longer ride, and much better/smoother than the Polar Coaster at Storyland. Overall, I'm glad we went and the kids really enjoyed it. And, seeing Santa in the middle of summer was a treat - as we told the kids, who knew Santa had a summer home in NH!
If you go, the waterpark area has changing areas/lockers so you can easily change into dry clothes. Have fun!!
