i noticed a few darker-than-normal hairs around my now-outie, too. i just ignore them, because they're not black, they're just not as light as the blonde fuzz i have otherwise. I am assuming it's PG related, but honestly, I do more "navel gazing" now that it's sticking out so far.
My tummy is rather hair too. It's mostly blonde but it's really long which makes it pretty gross! I also have like... seven big black hairs around my belly button which I have to pluck like every week!
This is definitely going on for me too. I guess I'm used to having some kind of tan on my stomach so it's not so obvious, but since I have avoided the sun or any spray-tan this entire pregnancy, I'm pastier than ever! I have a maternity photo shoot coming up and I'm just hoping she can photoshop the hairiness out of the picture!
I've had hair on my abdomen since puberty (thanks, Russian heritage!). If you want to get rid of it, don't shave it. that will just make it stubbly. I've had good luck with Nads. Before i had my son, when i wore bikinis, i would Nads it a few times each summer and that did the trick.
Re: Ahhh! Hair on my stomach!
HA! The title of this post made me LOL!
I also have noticed hair on my belly. One piece of advice: Don't try Nair unless you want to be itchy for the next few days.

Ha ha! Yes.... I can't tell if my linea nigra is starting show if it's just the hair on my belly creating a line.
I wouldn't shave it off though... It will only grow back darker and thicker. Most of it should go away after you give birth... or so I have read....

Thanks everyone! I dont feel quite so alone in my hairyness now. I wont shave it off, I think I will just leave it, b/c i'm a big wimp and wont wax.

I'll love you forever Baby Speck
FYI - growing back darker and thicker is just a myth (Dr. Oz just told me on his show!)
