Hello Ladies,
After reading your posts it seems you share my frustrations with the TTC process. It seems no one else does, if I hear one more time "It will happen when you stop thinking about it" I may wig out lol
Anyways, this month will be my last round with clomid. After being on BC for 20+ years it took me 2 years and a lot of progesterone to get my periods back. Next was to get me to ovulate. An HSG indicated a blocked tube which was cleared out by laparoscopy last summer. Just had another HSG and it showed the scar tissues had not grown back. Which is great but why no baby? So this is my last cycle of clomid and I am wondering what's next?
Best wishes for all of you and good luck!
Re: What's next?
I hear ya! If one more person asks me "how are things going with TTC? what are you doing about it? did you go see a specialist?", I am going to answer "None of your effing business and how inappropriate of you to ask" and then I will slap the sh!t out of them!!
GL to you also!
I guess what's next is a question for your Dr. Are you seeing the OB or the RE? If you are still at your OB's it might be time to see an RE.
I'm sorry its really frustrating when people tell you to relax
I hear you sista! That's exactly why I didn't tell anyone! no one. my own parents didn't even know I had lap surgery last week. I just don't want to deal with that! Too much pressure as it is. For me the next step is IUI with follistim shots. I just started TTC but since I'm 41 I'm not wasting time with an OB, went straight to RE.

It really is! And sometimes I just feel so bad when my pregnant friends want to tell me every little detail, sometimes I can't handle it and have to walk away.
Hello & Welcome.
After being on BC for 20+ years it took me 2 years and a lot of progesterone to get my periods back. Next was to get me to ovulate.
Can I hear more about this? I am curious since I have Intermittant Ovarian Failure. We are considering Donor Eggs at this time, but my first preference is to use my own eggs....
Thanks!
Sure! Well my husband and I decided that around my 33 birthday we would stop the pill. I visited the OBGYN and told him my plans. He said good luck and see you when your pregnant. I asked if being on the pill for so long would be an issue and he said it might take me a few months to return to normality. So I wasn't surprised when I did not get it. A few months went by, then the holidays. Nothing. I went back he gave me progesterone. After two tries I finally got it. It was horrible. The following cycle nothing. So we continued with the progesterone for about two more cycles and he ordered an HSG which showed one blocked tube. He decided to go in and do a laparoscopy. Where he removed adhesions and scar tissue from my tubes and performed another HSG and this time both tubes refused to cooperate. At that point he referred me to a specialist and from there I have been through more HSGs (all normal) and several rounds of clomid. This is my last cycle, so far no luck. So I think I my next steps are to become a pin cushion
. My specialist suspects my tubes may have damage thus my best hope is IVF. Hope my story helps in some way. Best of luck to you!
