Now that I'm getting my energy back

I think I need to kick up my working out.Right now all I've been able to muster is walking 3 miles, 5 days a week, sometimes more if I can. I usually take DD in her stoller ( 34 lbs between the two of them). I'm not sure that's really enough though? I'm trying really hard this time to be more active and nornally if I were not pregnant I might walk 4-5 miles plus do some sort of strength training. I'm not really sure what kind of strength training ould be safe to do right now? Any one have any tips?

  • I think thats great! I don't think you should do strength training if you didn't before the pregnancy. The walking is excellent and just eating healthy. I need to start doing something, its just been too damn hot to walk, even at night! But its getting better so I should start...

  • Thanks! It was pretty hot here too for a few weeks but it's been cooler lately. Though I bet you have had much hotter weather! I don't know about you but I'm kind of glad fall is coming.
