Update: Back from First Appointment!!!!!

I don't know why I was so nervous!! I guess because I had spotting before ... but ... everything went GREAT!!

They did the medical history etc ... since I'm due for a pap, the one doctor recommended it ... but after speaking to my doctor regarding my on and off spotting and the fact that it has stopped again for the 3rd time ... they decided to give my cervix a rest and maybe next appointment!!!

I got to hear the heartbeat via doppler with the one Doctor that was asking me all kinds of questions! Best sound ever!! Then my doctor came in ... and said, "hey I want to hear it too!!" So we listened again!!! 165 bpm but got as fast as 170 at one point!!!!! YAY!!!!!! After a whole lot of swooshing noise and my sense of panic, it came in nice a clear!! And according to the OB, it was a nice deep heartbeat!! She was very pleased!!!!

YAY!!!! So excited!!!!!! I just wish hubby was here in town to go with me!!!

That's awesome.

A nice, strong heartbeat is always wonderful to hear! For my first pregnancy that I miscarried, I was never really able to hear the heartbeat, so to be able to hear it strong for this baby gave me a lot of relief!

It was incredible!!! There was like 2 minutes of silence/swooshing noises and then all of a sudden there was this thub dub thub dub going a mile a minute!!! lol ... if DH was there, he'd be crying for sure!!!!!!
