Tylenol is fine to take. Advil is not. Hope you feel better! I pulled a muscle in my butt last week and went to the chiropractor yesterday for it -- soooo much better. I feel your pain, it hurt to even walk!

Ibuprofen is one of those drugs that tends to have differing opinions. Some will say it's fine during the first two trimesters, but it's a category D drug in the third trimester. Others will say to stay away from it for the entire pregnancy.
are these meds okay to take during pregnancy? me and my husband moved yesterday and i pulled a muscle in my butt and its killin me!!
I have been taking ibuprofen when I get a headache instead of excedrin. I havent had any problems with it. I think one thing that people worry about is it might thin your blood a little, which is already a problem when pregnant.
I was told Tylenol is the only safe one. I read a few months back that ibuprofen can cause a miscarriage. But I can't give you the site, because I can't remember it.
Re: tylenol/ibuprofen
Tylenol regular strength is fine.
