XP - Toys for 3 year olds (boys)?

XP - I am starting to think ahead towards Christmas (DS will be two months shy of 3) and then his birthday. What kind of toys does your 3 year old enjoy?

    Two of my DD's favorite toys are her train set and Matchbox cars.  For her cars, I got a roadway mat at TRU for les than $10 and she plays with it ALL THE TIME.

    My guys are really in to super heros.  Superman and Batman are the current favorites.  For Christmas last year we bought Andrew the Imaginext Batman cave with accessories.  He LOVES it.

    ds love his hotwheels, his train, and buzz lightyear. 

    for his bday we found a remote control car by tonka on sale (reg $40 , got it for $10 at Target's big toy sale in July).

    and we found a town rug on amazon.com on sale for $25 (reg over $75)

    ds loves his building blocks too.
