if I buy Gabe a Big Brother shirt in 24 months (next size up from what he is in now, but he'll be in it soon) to do for pictures that he'll still fit in it in April?
maybe. Mine was growing like a weed up till the 18/19 month mark. but has acutually has lost a pound or two and is pretty stagnant. She's grown a half inch, but her shirts aren't being effected. Now her feet on the other hand......

Please Lord, I love this baby already, we are ready when You are.
I'd guess that he and Aaron are pretty well matched. Gabe stays solidly in the 75% for height and weight. Not sure where Aaron is, but from your siggy pic I'd judge they are close.

both my boys really slowed down at about 15-18 months in growth, so it might be ok. But you could get like a 2T or 3T and it wouldn't look too huge even if it is a little big.

Aaron's 29 lbs and 32 inches at 15 months. Not sure how matched they are, but if I was buying for that far ahead, I'd do a 2T or 3T.

Gabe just had his 15 mo check up today and I just checked in with DH. He's 27 lbs and 32 in. The doc said to expect that he'll continue to get taller in the next year but that his weight will even out. I might do a 2T just in case though.

I agree. Em slowed down in growth big time. I was worried that she would keep up at her current rate and everything would be too small for her, but we got her a 24 month big sister shirt and it fits perfect...even a little long in the arms.
Re: Hmm, I wonder what the likelihood is
If he's anywhere near Aaron's size, I'd say not bloody likely.
I put a 24 month Osh kosh sweat shirt on Aaron this morning and it wasn't all that big.
