I went in for our NT Scan and we measured 7 days ahead. Is this an accurate dating of the gestational age or does it mean that baby will be a big baby? I have read both and don't really understand.
typically if you are 1 week or more ahead, they will move your due date accordingly.
i measured 5 days ahead and they are leaving my due date the same. with my son, i was measuring right on target until 20 weeks and then i was measuring 1.5 weeks ahead the rest of the pregnancy. he ended up just being a big baby.
At my last appointment I was measuring 1 week ahead by my calculation based on my O date, but 5 days behind based on my LMP. They decided to go with what the baby was measuring to give me my EDD. So I'm technically now due in Feb, but I feel at home on the March board so I stay here. :-) Not that this answers your question at all, though...hehe.
