Nikibug

I'm going down to work out, so I won't respond right away if you post back, but ...

Have you see this on beach body?  https://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/getting_started/power90.do

It seems less time intense, which is why I'm interested.  Just curious if you've heard anything about it, you P90X guru, you! Smile

Re: Nikibug

  • I'm butting in.

I have the power 90 workouts. We got them before P90X showed up.

I like them, but it gets kind of boring doing the same workouts all the time. I haven't made it all the way through them. I've made it to almost day 60 before stopping. It was summer and we started playing softball so our free time went down the drain and I never really started back up again. I just started again the other day. But I have an injured elbow (had surgery a while back and can't put much weight on it still), so I can't do the moves very well, and I've been sticking with the cardio.

FIrst off...Yay for working out! Good job Culk! Second, No I have not tried them. It seems like it would be an easier version of p90x...maybe you could try it and start there!

Thanks!!  Encouragement is always welcome!!  That's what I was thinking in regards to it being easier than P90X.  I was thinking about starting with it, but I don't want it to be too easy, ya know?, especially since I've been working out and lifting so much already.  Hmmm.... decisions, decisions!

  • I've heard of this from my co-workers. If you're not ready to do P90X, Power 90 gets you ready for it.  One of the male co-works was telling me that his wife likes this much better than P90X b/c she felt that P90X was more "male oriented."  I hear it works great.
