If you do your DD's hair...

how do you get her to sit still long enough?  I used to put DD in her highchair with something fun to play with, usually something she's not supposed to have, like my watch.  That worked for a while but now she's getting fidgety.  Any advice?  TIA!!

  • I chase her around the house and do it while she's trying to get away from me.  Lol.  Usually that's how it ends up, but I try giving her juice, a snack, tv, whatever.

  • I do it while she is brushing her teeth! she loves to do that so it takes her mind off it.  but some mornings it is quick and not very good!!! just as long as it is out of her eyes right?? :) GL
  • Honestly I can just do it so fast now that I can sit her long enough in my lap and do it. My sister watch in amazement last week at how fast I was, lol
  • If you find the secret, will you let me know?

DD's bangs are so long now, and some days I'm able to get it up, but most of the time she just runs around looking like a shaggy dog.

  • We don't have t.v. so DD is totally engrossed whenever we put a movie in. I usually pop a movie in, wait about 5 minutes, and then sneak up behind her lol!

Sometimes I wait till we're leaving the house and she's already strapped into her car seat.

I haven't cut her hair yet and she's needing a trim so I have a feeling I'm going to have to be a little more creative in using the scissors lol!

  • Handy Manny...or I give her a shoe to play with...she loves shoes.
