My DD loves animals so I did a barnyard. My mom made a cake rectangle cake with a pond on it and a barn with a cupcake silo and barnyard animal cupcakes on the size. I bought all the stuff from the 1st celebration.com I believe and the napkins, invites, etc were all really cute cows, sheep etc. She loved it! I did cutesier baby animals not more realistic.
ds loved sesame street so we used that theme. i bought a table cloth, banner party hats and centerpiece from iparty and bought green and yellow plates, cups and napkins from walmart (so much cheaper than the themed ones).
i made his invite and thank you card on scrapblog (i dont have a picture of the thank you and this isnt the exact invite..i used a different pic of him holding an elmo doll)
i bought an oscar the grouch shirt at old navy for him to wear and made the cutest cupcakes (super super easy if you want the directions)
we served dorothy goldfish, elmo pizza, abbys freckled lemonade (lemonade with mashed up strawberry chunks), "bird food" trail mix, and had an oscar the grouch trash can...
target had tons of sesame street stickers coloring books, crayons and books so those were the favors
We did a Dora party since that is DD's favorite. We had her party at a park pavillion and we played a Dora CD, had Dora cupcakes, and DH's friend dressed up in a Dora Costume. It was a huge hit, although many of the 3-4yos wanted to know where Boots was!!
I found the invites, thanks you, plates, napkins, candle, etc very cheap on various websites! I made my own goodie-bags too.

We are doing a Minnie Mouse party for DD's birthday in Sept. I am going to use pink and white polka dots as some of the decorations also. I found her invitation on esty.
I was going to do a cupcake theme but DD was looking at the birthday express catalog and got really excited about the Minnie Mouse stuff. She even showed it to DH when he got home and said "I have Minnie party daddy."
We did Dora. I wanted to do minnie mouse BUT it just didn't work out that way. My grandma was sick all summer and they told us she had about a month to live (in June). She made it a little past that and MIL offered to help in any way she could w/ DD's b-day. I told her we were doing minnie & she took DD to the party store & DD freaked when she saw Dora so MIL just went ahead and bought everything Dora. I can't complain, it was really nice of her to do it and she even filled out the invites because I coudln't get to them (2 days later grandma passed & we had a wake here & then had her taken to KY for the wake & funeral there) Next year maybe we'll do minnie? LOL. But Dora turned out really cute too.

I wanted to do Super Why themed party, since Sasha is obsessed with that show, but it was nearly impossible to find party supplies for that (I might get her some Super Why videos/toys instead). We decided to go with a pool/summer party theme. We'll have a kiddie pool out for the little ones and maybe beachy summery drinks for adults.
DS' birthday is on Saturday and I am doing a Very Hungry Caterpillar theme. I am preparing all of the foods that are in the story and decorating with yellow/red/green. Our favors are big rainbow lollipops.

We did Sesame Street. I bought the tablecloth, a banner, goody bags, invites and thank-yous at Target. I got Abby and Elmo plates, napkins and cups at Party City. I got favors from Targets dollar spot. We did gummy worms (Slimey), goldfish (Dorothy), socks, activity pads, and I made chocolate chip cookies to put in there too. Oh and I got ballons at party city also.

Mickey (with his clubhouse friends). DS's true love is "Mim nie" but DH wouldn't go for a pink Minnie only party!

We actually did ladybug.
I bought red visors and glued black dots on them and put pipe cleaners on them for antenae. they were cute.
There are a ton of options out there for decor.
