I was going to a mid-wife in Manchester area and loved her, until I realized that my limited pregnancy knowledge had started to exceed her. She started giving me "I don't know" type of answers to my questions and blank stares, lol. Not good when you stump your mid-wife or doctor, doesn't make you feel very confident. So I switched to the doctor in that office. You may be safer sticking with an actual doctor, just my two cents from working with this other lady!!
Birth Partners, absolutely! I ended up having an unplanned c-section, so it might not sound like the best, but it was only bc he was breech. Janet and her group of doulas are THE BEST, took her class and it made my husband and I so confidant, really made us feel prepared and excited for the birth! If you want her phone number, just reply and let me know!
