Pregnant after IF

More unsolicited advice ;)

When/if you make up freezer meals to have ready for the crazy days after your LO arrives...you might want to make sure that some of them don't have dairy in them...  My son has a dairy sensitivity and all of the meals I made up except for one have some sort of dairy in them.  UGH!!  so frustrating!

Re: More unsolicited advice ;)

  • Was this advice you got - or are giving?  Not sure that I'm following the issue - is it that your newborn has a dairy issue and you are eating the meals with dairy and then passing the dairy to him through breast milk.  I'm really dense today.

oops!  sorry!  Guess I could have given more info!  Yep, I'm breastfeeding and LO was having some issues, so I cut dairy out of my diet and he is doing better...but now I can't eat any of my freezer meals, which is really frustrating!!  grr!!
  • I made some 2wks ago and did exactly that and while I was doing it, I thought - this is stupid you know you can't have dairy...

I think most kids can't tolerate dairy - at least at first that is what they usually tell BFing mamas to cut out.

I know this and still made meals with cheese - crazy!
