So we were at the conference center today. Again, I had RSVP'd saying I could not have any dairy. So we go to lunch, and it's sandwiches. OK, I normally can have a little bread, so I ask which sandwiches I can have and it turns out they all have BUTTER on them. I pick a few (like 6 because I'm starving) and take off the top piece of bread. I'm still hungry, but I know I need to pump before we go back in.
So there are two bathrooms, one inside the conference room and one off the main lobby. Everyone was using the main lobby one, so I went to use the conference room one. I got yelled at that I couldn't use that one because they were setting up in there, so I tried to explain that I wanted to pump there because it was not as busy. They didn't get it, but they let me go, not before making me feel like a chump.
So I get into the stall, get set up, and see I have an email from DH that all of the clothes in the wash bled and are now green!
I was so wound up and upset and now I could hear people coming back into the room, I couldn't get a let down for a few cycles. When I finally did, I only pumped 1.5 oz! Then I freaked out even more because I need milk for tomorrow and it's not like I have a freezer stash over here!
Luckily, later, I was able to pump another 6 oz, but I'm still a little too tight for comfort, and I'm really upset about the whole food thing. They did try to make it up to me at dinner by coming over to help--but it turns out the only things I could eat at dinner were rice and bean salad!
I'm feeling a bit homesick.

Oh you poor thing!
Can you have Similac Alimentum available as a back up or to mix with so it isn't so stressful? Sorry...I hate days like that!
On another note, DS has officially outgrown his dairy and soy allergy (at 9 mo). It obviously happened earlier but that's when I tried it. It won't be forever!!!
Oh, rhody, I'm so sorry hun. I want to cry for you. Is there any way possible you can bring in your own food? It's a PITA, but at least bring in some sandwiches for yourself and some snack food that is dairy free (nuts, fruit, etc?). I want you to at least be able to get some food in you; I know being hungry just compounds everything.
I think a visit to HR might be due when you're back in the states, particularly where it relates to having a place to pump without a hassle. (((hugs)))
