Need First Haircut advice, please!

I think DD is ready for her First Haircut.  Boo!!  I love love love her long curls, but it's starting to look stragly in the back due to how it came in layery and it needs to be evened out a bit to stay looking nice.  Where did you go for your DC's first haircut?  How long does it last?  Anything else I should know?

    I just went to the girl who cuts my hair.  M sat on my lap...she was pretty enamoured with the whole thing.  It took maybe 10 minutes from start to finish.

    We took Cheerios to keep our son happy.  He sat on my husbands lap and did fine.  The lady that cut it also cuts mine, so she let him play with the little hand mirror and a comb, so he was pretty happy.  It went really fast...maybe 10 minutes at the most.  Just enough time to take plenty of pictures.  Smile

    we went to cartoon cuts- they are great! They play a movie while they are doing it to keep them distracted.  Also I brought a bottle and gave that to Nathan so that kept him distracted as well.  He sat in my lap and I think it only lasted about 10-15 minutes
