So i know some of you on TB are crafty and are making things for your babies. I was just wondering what ?

 

I'm making the maternity pants someone posted a few days ago.... Thanks so much for that post.

I'm making my baby bedding, I couldn't find anything I really liked  

 

 

and i'm making wipe cases for myself and some shower gifts in the near future

any other ideas ? What are you making for your LO , or what do you wish you could make ?

I;m contemplating the cloth diapers, but I'm not sure if i want to venture that far into the world of crafting ....

    I have patterns for onsies, sleep sacs, hats, booties, etc which I will begin to tackle in the next few weeks.  I will also make pants to go over onsies.  I haven't decided if I will make the bedding yet -- I made my nephew a quilt that my sister decided to use as a wall hanging instead.  So I might make a decorative quilt or a floor blanket.  I also make taggies so I will probably do one of those.

    I just finished crocheting a baby cocoon. It's for a photo prop when I do his/hers newborn pics! :o)

    I love crafts!  I'm an artist so I do crafts all the time.  I've already made tons of baby type crafts for friends so I'm sure I'll make them for my own LO once I find out what it is! 

    Examples:

    baby mobile, tutu, hairbows, nursery art...

    I saw these adorable onesies that had ties and necklaces on them, I'd love to make some of those.  Also I might make my crib bedding depending on the price difference of buying v.s. making.

    Thanks for the link about the diaper and wipes case! I'll definitely be making some of those!

    Right now, I plan to make the cribskirt and curtains as well as other decorations for the nursery. I've crochetted a little hat and plan to do some booties and blanket for the nursery once I get the colors and decor set.

    Before my daughter was born I made a bunch of artwork for her walls, some blocks that spell her name for her dresser, a bunch of tutus and angel wings for her photo shoot.  I made a hair bow holder for all her clippies too.  I'm waiting to find out the gender before I start crafting this time.

    I can't wait to get started making baby crafts! I love working on sewing projects, and plan on making appliqued onesies, decorations for the nursery, and all of the bedding.
    I purchased this fabric on clearance online after seeing it in a store, and I'm going to make a comforter, bed skirt, valance and rocking chair cushion with it. imageimage" mce_src="image">

    if this baby is a girl I the things on my to do list are

    a tutu

    head bands

    onesies with painted necklaces, appliques, etc

    girly blanket

    burp cloths

    girly diaper wipe case

     

    plans to make anyway is a nursing cover, maternity pants and swaddle me blanket
