Just wanted to pass this around. Found this link in an article I was reading. It is nice to know the laws that pertain to your state.

Re: Breast Feeding Laws by state
That's interesting, thanks for posting. I know I have the right to BF in public within the EU, and there is a big push in the UK for 'BF-friendly' places...
I BF in public with DS for the first 9-12 months of BFing - until he was just too wriggly and modesty got to be more of an issue. I suprised myself, as I'm a really modest person. But within a few weeks I needed to get out and newborns need to feed often.
I have no problems with it as long as you're respectful of situations and relatively modest. I have never seen an immodest BFing mom. I firmly believe it's a woman's choice, but would raise unholy heck if someone asked me to stop and I wasn't doing anything wrong, if they asked me to nurse in the restroom (serioulsy, who would eat in a public toilet??) or leave.
ETA: There are certainly times when I'd go to a less crowded place/more private place - I never liked feeding in crowds - unless it was a crowd of mums. And sometimes crowds are too distracting for babies anyway.

If your company has more than 50 employees, you are also allowed access to a private non-bathroom to pump at work.
BF in Public: yes, I will. I WON'T whip out my boob & let it hang there while getting the baby ready. That's tacky.
Unfortunately that only covers non-exempt employees. Salaried (exempt) staff are not covered.
