Child Care Recommendations - St. Paul?

Does anyone have any child care recommendations in St. Paul (especially the east side or near downtown)?  I am looking at centers and in home and even nannies.

    I would go the nanny route for sure! I've worked in/volunteered at several daycare facilities both in home and in centers. Centers and many home daycares just want as many kids as they can possibly take and in the process many times the quality of care and attention is sacrificed. I've been to one at home center and basically it was a good day is no one ended up missing, bleeding, or destroying part of the house. This isn't to say that their aren't gems out there, they may just be much harder to find. If you want to keep costs lower consider hiring a nanny that wants to bring their child with or even a SAHM. I'd check craigslist or possibly an agency.
