Couldn't keep the secret much longer, obviously ![]()

I framed this, and wrapped it up in a grocery bag and said, oh hey I saw this and thought you would like it.
My family passed it along silently, they were in shock!
My mother in law though, it was amazing. She was showing me my niece's blessing dress that she was making, and how she was having a hard day because it was her mother's birthday (she just passed away a few months ago) She said "how thoughtful!" and unwrapped it.
She let out the biggest gasp I have ever heard and tears sprung to her eyes as she said "REALLY?"
It was a really sweet moment.
A little early, but I just couldn't keep it in! What are you planning/what did you do?
Re: How I told the parents!
pic didnt work
try again! I want to see it lol
We told our families really early too (at 6 weeks). We concieved in Disney World so we took my HPT (i know a lil gross lol) and wrapped it in a jewlery box and told them we bought them a souvenior back from Disney. They loved it! And no one actually touched my HPT so it worked well. Although my MIL thought it was a thermometer at first and I would have laughed if she stuck it in her mouth (my MIL and I dont really get along so it would have been sweet justice)
Hahaha, I love that!
(is it working now?)
nope just looks smaller
When i put pics in i use photobucket? what are you using?
Oh I just realized! I saw your u/s the other day and thats what gave me the idea for see you in april!
My mom's birthday was yesterday so we hosted the family for dinner... when it came time for presents, she opened ours (a bib and baby book) and cried for 10 minutes! The whole family was there crying and hugging- it was so special! Couldn't have timed it better!
Can I steal your picture?? (is that weird) I took a picture of my test the day off but it came out eh- and your awesome with the graphics. I'm going to tell my mom tomorrow and I wanted to put this in a frame. I printed out my test- but it looks weird in the frame.
Its a black and white frame saying: A grandchild is a gift from above.
5 Angels
DH and I told our parents to close their eyes and put their hands out. We put a binky in each of their hands.
My parents were thrilled, the ILs didn't even get off the couch to congratulate us.
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
We told our parents the day after our BFP (after I tested 4 times, lol). DH and I had been trying for a year, so we were too excited to keep it quiet. We bought a grandpa keychain for my FIL and he loved it. We bought little photo albums for both our mothers. The front said "great moms get promoted to grandma" and they got the hint! It was amazing...they were all so happy! My FIL has cancer and is going in Sept 1 for surgery to remove the tumor, so we wanted to deliver some good news to try and releive some of the stress and it worked! We are telling DH's grandparents this weekend. This is the first great grandbaby, so we bought them a pic frame that says "Fourth Generation" and has a cute scripture at the bottom. Since we haven't had our u/s yet, I am typing up an IOU to put in the place of a picture. It is going to say "IOU, Hello, I owe you a picture to complete this frame. I will be here in April, so you can take me up on it then. I love you already, can't wait to meet you. Love, your 4th Generation" I can't wait!!!
It may seem a little corny, but I love it!
