TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Dipsh!t Charting Q.

So this morning I woke up earlier than normal, and had no blankets on. I was freezing. I took my temp just in case, and fell  back to sleep

I woke up about 1 hr later, fully blanketed and wasn't freezing my arse off. I temped then too.

Question is - which temp would you use?

Re: Dipsh!t Charting Q.

  • The earlier one.  Any temp after waking up, even if you fall back asleep after, is going to be artificially high.

  • I've done the same thing before. I have two different answers that lead to the same point. 1) Use temp 1 but mark off that it was an hour early. 2) Use temp 2 but mark restless sleep.Either way you'll get an open circle.

Or if you were me, use the one that leads in the direction you want it to lead you!

  • In my professional opinion, I would go with the 1st temp... I'd like to see what everyone else says though!

Next time you should just do what I did today and fall back asleep with the farking thermometer in your mouth Wink

  • how significant was the variation of temp...(just out of curiosity)

When we went camping and I froze my arse off my temp was like 2 full degrees lower than it was the day before and it was after O so now I"m forming a study....lol

I've done this before only to find the thermometer across the bed under the pillow... yeah who knows how that happens.

  • It was about .5 degrees off.

Isn't drinking meant to cause a higher temp?

My thermometer may have bite marks in it because I'm too lazy to hold my head in a position where it won't fall out Embarrassed

When I woke up the second time (before my alarm) it was because I rolled over and almost choked to death on the thermometer as it stabbed the back of my throat. This TTC sh!t might be the death of me!

    Guppy is wise!

Seriously though... given last night's debauchery, perhaps this morning's temps should be pitched, period! Stick out tongue

  • I bet your real temp would have been smack in the middle of those two, given the drinking.  You might want to make this an open circle or mark drinking, so you can remember that this one might not be so accurate.
