Feels like I had a Shards O' Glass popsicle

My throat started hurting yesterday and got worse through out the night.  Woke up at 4am from the pain.  Not fun!  Waking this morning wasn't much more of a joy so I am heading to my family physician this morning to see what is going on and hopefully get some relief.  First the glass in my foot and how feeling like I swallowed glass...okay, I'm ready for this week to end! :(

     That sounds awful, I'm so sorry! What a perfect description of how terrible that feels, though.  In a "Oh God, I hate that feeling, please don't actually let it become cold and flu season ever again" kind of way.
