DS is turning 5 and we have run out of party places. He did Chuck E Cheese last year, DD did Monkey Bizness/Pump It Up in July as did most of their friends bday parties we have gone to recently. I thought about the zoo but it is pretty expensive and a little bit of a drive for guests (we are in Spring). Any ideas? Places in The Woodlands? We can't do a home party (in an apt right now) - maybe a park but I hate to worry about the weather...any suggestions are appreciated.

Re: Need birthday party ideas...
Sorry just re-read your post. I thought the party was for your DD. An art party may not be appropriate for a boy???
James Coney Island. We went to a birthday party at the Conroe location in June for a 5 year old and it was fun. They had a hotdog decorating contest, someone dressed up as the Coney Island hotdog and other fun stuff. You might check it out at the 45/1960 location.
There is one on Sawdust also.

Sarah had her 3rd birthday party at the old location in the mall and they did a great job. It's one of the cheaper places to have a party around here, especially if you'er already a Museum member.
I was going to suggest this. My 5-year old went to one a few months ago and loved it.
I know that Westwood Gymnastics in Katy is a big hit. Maybe check out those kind of places in your area.
