Has your baby ever eaten 16 oz in 2 hours?

The babysitter says she feeds her sometimes 2-8oz bottles of formula in the 2  hours she watches her.  wtf?  I told her to get DD busy with something else to take her mind off if she thinks she is hungry.  I've never had to feed her this much when I have DD.  Do you think I should let her feed her that much or say what I did?

    If you've NEVER fed her that much and the babysitter is OFTEN feeding her that much, something is not right and I agree with what you told her.

    she's your baby so you can tell the sitter anything you please because you are in charge.

    That being said my LO has eaten that much once in a while, not everyday but sometimes I'll make an 8oz and she gulps it so I give her more, other times she barely eats 2oz not sure what makes her more or less hungry but it has happened.

    my ds ate 16 oz og BM in about 1 hour...in the middle of the night...he was just ravenous!!!  he often eats more when others babysit him...I think their insticnt is..."oh, he must be hungry" and I tell them...play with him first before offering food, too....good luck

    LO only eats that much when my MIL is watching him.
