dang that place was nice. Kaiser sent me to a "Fetal Diagnostic Center" in Laguna. Swanky.
The guy asked if I'd brought a DVD. Nope. no one said to bring anything. So he went and got one for me, and recorded the whole thing.
Baby has 2 legs, 2 arms, and a nose! It was very still and just chilling in there, until I mentioned that and then it started kicking up a storm, and punching it's little fists.
Neck measurement turned out good at 1.1 The tech said they don't get concerned until it's over 3. Then he looked up the results from my 1st tri blood draw. Negative for Trisomy 18 & 21.
One more blood draw in the 2nd tri, and then I'm all done. But so far all looks okay.

wasn't even a Kaiser. They outsourced it, since the testing is now a state run thing - they sent me to state approved center (they do them at Kaiser Anaheim, and Irvine - but those were booked up). I was at Saddleback Memorial Hospital (a side bldg thereof).

IVF#3: BFP! - 1/24: ET - 5d - 2 blasts - 2/02: Beta #1: 16.2 ...... 2/04: Beta #2: 35 ...... 2/09: Beta #3: 401.5 - I'm pregnant! - 2/13: u/s #1 - baby boy, due 10/12, born 10/16! ...... 8 lbs 0 oz, 22 inches!
