Birth Centers?

Has anyone thought of a birth center? I am wondering. I saw a great birth center with midwives in Menomomie, WI!

    We did a hospital for our first birth.  While it was a great experience, we decided we'll be doing a birthing center for our second.  We just felt that if we had missed and got a poor nursing staff who was unsupportive of our birthing plans that our Bradly birth would have gone down the tubes.  We would prefer to have a birth that is supported by all people who are there and not just have it be a hit or miss chance of luck.
