Hi! My husband and I are moving from the West coast and he will be working in North Andover. Can anyone recommend towns nearby that have good school districts and are within 40 minutes from there? We have no clue even where to begin looking!! We would love a single family home wth 3-4 bedrooms and a backyard!! Thanks for any info!!
Re: Does anyone live near North Andover or..
There are lots of places within 40 minutes - it will just depend on what you are looking for and what your budget is!
Here are a few you may want to check out (I live in the area) - North Andover, Andover, Reading, North Reading, Middleton, Boxford, Georgetown, Groveland, Newbury, Newburyport, West Newbury, Amesbury, Hamilton, Wenham, Lynnfield, Ipswich, Merrimac, Rowley. Happy looking!
I live in North Andover and we really love it here. The schools are good and it is convenient to Route 93 and 495. I would be happy to answer any questinos if you want to message me. Good Luck!
Hi - I know this is going to sound a bit loaded, but I'm actually a realtor in Andover, and live in North Andover. My wife was also born and raised in North Andover, and her folks have lived here for 35 years. It's a great town and a great area...
BTW, I'm here because we're expecting our first in Feb, and it's exciting stuff.
If you have any questions about the area or local real estate, let me know.
Hi there!
I'm also a recent transplant from the PNW (from the Seattle area, originally). Once you get to the area, if you'd like to get together let me know! (BTW, you may want to have your family ship you Tillamook cheese. Cabot cheese is pretty good but nowhere near Tillamook!).
Also, I can recommend mojua as a realtor - PM me if you have any questions or any of that!
My husband and I moved to North Andover in November (from a town not too far away) and we love it. I work as a guidance counselor and it was very important for me to live in an area that has a good school system. We are expecting our first in March and he/she will definitely be going to the North Andover Public Schools. Andover is also very nice, but the real estate (from my personal experience) is a more expensive.
Good luck!!
I live in North Andover too. My husband and I bought a home here last October because we wanted to live in a great town with a good school system. We could not be happier. I also grew up around here and am familiar with the area. Good luck with the move.
