Okay so I am 26 weeks pregnant, due November 30th, with my first child. My husband had three children when we got together. They are 5, almost 4(on September 11), and just turned 2.
I have gone from being a single 19 year old, to being a married 20 year old with three kids(1 in his terrible 2's, one who is being evaluated for Autism, and 1 who listens to everything her birth mom tells her and has decided that she can be Miss Attitude and doesn't have to listen to me at all). That has been a lot to deal with on it's own, on top of me have 3 different heart problems and have RA(Rheumatoid Arthritis). We didn't think I was going to be able to get pregnant, but apparently so! LOL!
Between my OB/GYN, WIC, and the ladies with Family Services, and Early Head Start I have been given a lot of prenatal information and get visits at my home with a lot of different people to help me through pregnancy and after baby is born. I have been reading a lot about the Baby Blues and the PPD. I have experienced depression when I was a teenager and they did say that I might be more acceptable to PPD because of that. With the info I have read everything I feel is what they have about PPD, but I haven't had the baby yet. Is it possible to experience PPD before you give birth? TIA, sorry it's so long.
Re: Baby blues, PPD, or just due to being pregnant? Help?(Long/Vent, sorry)
