From Neosure to Similac Advance, Anyone?

Hello All,

My lil peanut had his 4th month appt this Friday. Every thing went super!, And I thank God for it. His pedi is very happy with Gabriel progress. She said he is a very happy & healthy baby and doing very well for a 33 weeker, catching up very fast. Gabriel is now 13 lbs 7 oz, and his pedi sugguested that we can swtich him from Neosure to regular Cal formula and recommended Similac Advance.

I wanted to ask if anyone of you has done a formula swtich, espcially to the Similac Advance? What was your experience and or recommendation?

The Neosure gave our DD horrible gas, so when we got the all clear to switch her we went right to Similac Sensitive. It helped us a lot and DD had no problem with the transition. Later I tried to switch her to Enfamil Gentelesse b/c I kept getting formula checks, but DD couldn't tolerate it. So we switched back to Similac Sensitive and have been very happy.

DD had no problems with Neosure, and went onto Similac Advance with no problems either. Seemed seamless. Dietition did say that staying within the same formula "family" helps with switching formulations.

ryan had neosure, similac RS, similac sensitive, similac advanced, and one can of enfamil. neosure was the only thing that did a number on his system. all the transitions were fine!

DD was on neosure then switched to advanced and it made it her super constipated for about a week. Other than that, she did okay with it, but we ended up switching again to the sensitive rs because of her terrible reflux!
