Old Navy sizes seem freakishly small

Is it just me??  I was there this weekend and they all seemed SO small for what they're labeled.  Mikayla's rocking the 6 month sizes for most clothes, but I swear from the looks of the clothes there I'd probably have to get her the 18-24 month sizes to fit her!

  • Deb, I think it's just you.  Stick out tongue Old Navy/Gymboree/Gap all actually seem large for Payton.  lol

  • I agree with you. I have always been up at least one size from the size that Holly should really be in.

  • Yeah I have to agree with Kim, Cruz is still in 6-12 for most of their stuff 12-18 has plenty of room to grow.

  • I find Gymboree to be huge but old navy seems somewhat normal to me.  Its all so hard.  I think my hardest thing is I simply just dont want her to grow up!!  She may be our only and when I move up a size in clothing or diapers it just kills me.  I want my little baby to stay this way.
  • That's so weird that there are such different opinions on this.  :)  I was specifically looking at hoodies/sweaters and I swear, they looked so tiny.  I didn't actually put any on her though.

Tami - I KNOW!  I told Mikayla she's not allowed to grow anymore.  I don't think she's listening.

  • It's funny, I feel like Old Navy and Gap run small.  Carters runs huge.
  • I definitely think that ON runs small. I just got them some stuff from there for the first time and they are 6-12 mo and fit perfectly with no room to grow... and my girls are nowhere near a 12 mo size in anything else! I can't imagine buying them a 12-18 mo, but it's what I'll do there in the future since they won't be in these clothes for that long.
