Nook or Kindle? (or other e-reader)

I know it has been asked before, but if you have one of these, what do you like/dislike about it?  I plan on buying one soon for school and pleasure reading.

    My parents have the Nook and love it!! I don't know what the difference is between the two, but i know they love it.

    I'm interested in this too! My birthday is next month, and that's what I'm asking for. So far I think I might like the Nook best, but I wish you could get it in the size of the pocket Sony e-Reader. so I don't know.

    I have a Kindle - which I ADORE. It is amazing. It fits in my purse, has a remarkably long battery life (for just reading it can easily go a week+ of active reading). It has limited internet access through the experimental section. 

    The only thing I would change (which would change its nature in a way) is that I would make it touch-screen, but I don't believe any of the e-book readers are this (and really it is just because I am so use to touch-screen on my phone that I forget that this isn't and feel like an idiot when I go to choose something by touch).

    I have a nook and love it. Long battery life. You can download books on it and the bottom screen is touch screen. I too wish the top section was touch screen as well, but you can also slide your finger across the bottom part(touch screen) and it will turn the page for you instead of pushing the button on the side.

    I have a Kindle and I love it. I have a funny feeling Amazon will take over the world eventually.
