He has been nursing ALL DAY. He is fussy at the breast and screaming when he is off it. Where is my calm baby? So ready to get past this. Who else?

The few days my boys have been insatiable too....

I took them to the pedi on Sat - both have gained 2lbs from their birth weights (6lb)... I'm guessing that takes a LOT of food!

We're there. She wakes more often and fusses when not nursing...she's got these huge cheeks already...can't wait until 6 week spurt!

You had your baby!!! Congrats!!!

The 3rd week is rough. They "wake up" that week. You'll have good and bad weeks and I recall the 3rd one being especially difficult. Just hang in there and know it gets better (it took mine up until about 8-9 weeks to be calmer).

I'm glad you posted this, I've been struggling. My son is 4 weeks tomorrow and for the last three days he does this 3 hour screaming session in the late afternoon where he'll nurse, sleep for 30 minutes and then wake up. He fusses until I nurse him - I try everything else first (diaper, gas, temperature, etc.) - and then the cycle starts again. So basically we do 3 hours of screaming, nursing, sleeping until he finally goes down around 8pm. It's been so tough - but I'm glad to hear that it's not just us. I was so afraid that something was really wrong - I hate seeing him so upset.
